Attending my first Dreamforce conference this month was like going to Comic-Con.
I go to Comic-Con at the San Diego Convention Center every year, and every year I also go to a couple of tech conferences there. When I'm at one of those tech conferences, I always think, "This conference would be even better if it had cosplay -- people wearing costumes."
My dream came true at this month's Salesforce's annual Dreamforce conference. Some 27,000 customers and partners descended on San Francisco to learn about using Salesforce's cloud software to improve relationships with customers. And many of those folks were in costume.
The conference had a national park theme. Conference attendees were called "Trailblazers," and San Francisco's Moscone Center was decorated like a park.
